It will help you to put your views clearly and confidently.

At meetings
Write down questions to ask.
Check who everyone is and what they do.
Ask for an explanation of terms or jargon.
Ask someone to go with you if it helps.
Make notes, or ask a friend to make notes.
Keep questions to the point.
Check whether you'll get minutes or notes.

Remember - If you would like to ask a Parent Partnership Service Officer to go with you to a meeting - give plenty of notice.
