Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin

01952 457176

STAA Group

The STAA group in Telford meets to support the parents and carers of children with:
- Autistic Spectrum Disorder including Asperger’s Syndrome
- ADHD
Or with difficulties associated with these special needs such as:
- Communication
- Social interaction
- Sensory issues
- Emotion and behaviour
- Concentration

They usually meet on the second Thursday of each month at Haughton School (term times only.)

Julie and Lesley from Parent Partnership Service help to run the sessions, based on the interests and concerns of parents/carers.
Staff from CAMHS-LD (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service) sometimes attend and can talk to parents individually.

They meet to share experiences and find out about local services to help to support their children. They also invite professionals from health, social care and education to meet and share useful information.

All welcome—please call Julie or Lesley first to say hello and check meeting details.
