PARENT PARTNERSHIP SERVICE

Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin

01952 457176

Welcome

Parent Partnership Service ( PPS ) is a free local service for parents and carers of children and young people with special educational needs (SEN). We can give you information, guidance and support to help you to take an active part in your child's education. We are separate from the local councils, although we receive funding from them, so you can be sure that we are impartial and confidential.

Your child may have a special need which affects their education such as:
autism ( ASD ), Asperger’s Syndrome, ADHD, learning difficulty or learning disability, dyslexia or reading difficulty, behavioural difficulties, physical or sensory disability, medical problems or genetic condition. We can help without a diagnosis, but there should be reasonable concern that your child has a special need.

Do contact us if there is anything that you would like to talk about, or if would like to ask for personal advice and support from one of our officers.

What is Parent Partnership Service?

This short film was produced by National Parent Partnership Service to explain what we are and what we can do. There may be some differences in the way we are able to work locally.
